Advanced Technology

We use the most advanced surgical tools and techniques to assess and improve your vision.

INNOVATIVE TECHNIQUES

In addition to traditional optometric equipment, The Eyespace offer patients the latest, innovative technology and techniques available to assess vision and eye health.

CATARACT SURGERY

IOL MASTER

The IOL Master allows fast, accurate measurements of eye length and surface curvature, necessary for cataract surgery. The IOL Master is more efficient because it allows measurements to be taken with complete confidence in the accuracy of the results. Also, because the IOL Master is non-contact (nothing touches the eye itself), there is no need for anaesthesia and there is no potential for the spread of contamination. The EyeSpace will use the measurements taken by the IOL Master to determine the exact prescription of the IOL needed for your surgery.

ZEISS CORNEAL TOPOGRAPHER

Carl Zeiss Corneal Topographer offers Corneal Wavefront Analysis and diagnostic of the cornea and produces topographical images that support optometric applications, pathology detection, and selection of aspheric IOLs.
Corneal topography aids clinical accuracy essential with displays higher-order corneal aberrations and providing valuable insight for patient education and treatment planning.

OPTOVUE OCT

Cataracts, the clouding of the natural lens of the eye, are the leading cause of vision loss and blindness  worldwide.

Dr Valiallah has been performing cataract surgery using state-of-the-art technology for over 30 years.

Cataract surgery is minimally invasive using topical anesthesia (no injections) and little to no discomfort is  experienced during the procedure.

ARGON LASER

Argon Laser is used in Ophthalmology to perform a type of treatment called Photocoagulation. Photocoagulation is a therapeutic technique that uses a strong light source with defined wavelengths to coagulate tissues – the light energy produced by the laser is absorbed by the tissue to be treated (called Target Tissue) and is converted into thermal energy (this type of laser is a type of thermal lasers).
